Nithia with its green atmosphere as seen from space.

Nithia (RS 8409-2271-7-367222-331 4 in beta patch 5) is a temperate E-Class planet found 38,137 light years from Earth, towards the center of the Milky Way galaxy. Among all terra's discovered in the galaxy, Nithia is a rare type of greenworlds that aren't usually found in the galaxy.

It is the homeworld of an alien, starfaring mid-Type I civilization called the Nixiens. Since the 8700's, they have begun interstellar exploration. They were discovered by Humanity in 8761.

The planet was discovered in 2044, Humanity had no knowledge of an alien civilization living there. Humanity gained interest in the planet again in November 8760. A year before the discovery of the Nixiens, the Confederacy of Humanity sent a probe to scan the planet for a future colony. When the probe discovered bizarre signals being emitted from the planetary surface, Humanity naturally assumed the presence of a younger civilization.

Nithia is only 21 light years from Elithia. Both planets form the Greenworlds Interstellar Alliance (abbreviated as GIA).

The planet is currently 6.261 billion years old. It has a mass 10% of Earth's and a diameter of 6163 km, giving it a gravitational pull of 0.45 g.

Life on Nithia is completely different from those found on Earth. Plants stretch from only 2.5 cm to almost 1 km in height. Most of these plants photosynthesise, unlike those at the bottom where photosynthesis is not possible. These plants will collect their nutrients from the soil around them. Because these plants will get little to no light, they are almost black and or a very dark green. Plants at the bottom of the sea are bioluminescent, lighting the way for sea creatures but also meeting their demise as the sea contains more carnivores than herbivores.

Animals on Nithia are mostly herbivores while some others are carnivores. Less than fifty species are known to be ominvores, this includes the Nixiens.

There have been seven mass extinctions within the last 7 billion years. The most recent one was the extinction of the Flight Nixiens about 120,000 years ago. The next mass extinction could occur within the next one thousand years, after studying one asteroid, which has a diameter of 1.2 kilometers, with a prediction to hit the planet sometime in 11,000 CE.

Due to the low population of Interbreed Nixiens, these species could face extinction within one hundred years due to a government policy, making interbreeding illegal.

Over the last 4 million years, Nithia saw the evolution of eight intelligent species but five of them went extinct in the last 1 million years. The last surviving species are the humanoid Nixiens, Mermaid Nixiens and the Interbreed Nixiens.

Nithia's atmosphere is green in colour, indicating a high amount of methane and oxygen within the atmosphere. Small traces of carbon dioxide and helium have also been found.

The atmosphere is very slowly escaping Nithia's gravitational pull. It is predicted Nithia will lose its famous, green atmosphere in about 2 billion years from now.

It has an atmospheric pressure of 0.83. Above the atmosphere, in the exosphere, temperatures soar to 1137.5 celsius.
