"Space is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist, but that's just peanuts to space."Douglas Adams was right, space is big. Space Engine does amazingly in showing us how big space can be. And among the stars there are bound to be planets teeming with life like Earth. Whether it is intelligent life is a different matter.
Here my hope is that the imaginative users of Space Engine will be able to create backstories for many of the living worlds of this amazing program. They can be the homeworlds of some alien race, or a colony world, or just a random world with life.
General Description Edit
The idea is simple: find a planet and using the available data write a wiki page or two on the planet, its inhabitants, anything. Also, those pages belong to you alone, no one else should edit them (unless you're correcting a grammar mistake, I'm looking at all the grammar Nazis out there!). If you want to collaborate with a fellow user that's fine too! The more the merrier!
Oh and before I forget, as a courtesy to the rest of us, try to use normal procedural generated planets, don't make your own. You can edit the planet's atmosphere, colors and sea level etc as long as it resembles the same world. On that same vein, could you also tell us which version of Space Engine you're using as well as the catalog name of the planet.
The Sol System page is up with links to every major world. If you want to make a page for any minor colonies please do so, but leave the link and population count on the Sol System page under the Minor Human Worlds header.
New Editor Guide - For people who want to contribute but are having problems starting out. Note however that everyone has their own style, this is a guide. If you need further help, just hit that random page and look for a few worlds

Comment: That's normal, SE uses the same model for multiple galaxies since it can't generate them on its own
